Favorite Paint Colors...

One of my favorite decorating bloggers, The Nester, is having a paint color party! As much as I'd love to post pictures of my favorite paint colors, our house is under construction (again!) due to frozen water pipes. So, here is picture of the paint colors that we used in our house. I LOVE them!

Monroe Bisque is a beautiful, warm neutral in our house. We have white cabinets in our kitchen, and white trim throughout, and Monroe Bisque pairs beautifully with that. It makes the house feel extremely cozy at night, which I love!

The master bedroom and bathroom are painted Blue Willow, a color by Ace Hardware. It is a room with 3 big windows, so it doesn't seem as dark as it shows on the monitor. It's a nice relaxing blue color, that looks great with our bright white trim.

The Grass Cloth color by Behr is one of my FAVORITE colors! I wanted a green laundry room (with green being my favorite color) and this is one that kept popping up in the "blog world". Rhoda, of Southern Hospitality, has painted her office nook this color and I fell in love! My sewing room/guest room was actually painted this color, too. It was a bit of an accident, but a happy accident nonetheless. It's quite a funny story that I'll have to tell later!

Don't tell Scott, but I'm on the hunt for a new color for Grayson's bathroom, which is also the guest bathroom. It's currently painted Monroe Bisque, like the majority of our house, but I'm looking for more of a "beachy" blue color for it.
