"Toss and Learn"...Colors

Grayson, like most boys, loves to be active! He loves to run, throw, catch, etc. Keeping that in mind, I have been trying to think of activities that I could do with him to reinforce his colors and shapes. I have seen several tutorials across "blog land" for bean bags and the light bulb came on!  I made Grayson a set of shape bean bags and he LOVES playing with them! He can even identify a pentagon...I think that's pretty good for a 2 1/2 year old!

We were recently invited to a "shower" for some friends who have received 2 foster children...boys ages 2 and 3. We were asked to bring a "necessity" item for the parents and a toy for the boys. I thought that the shape bean bags would be a great gift, but needed another idea for a second toy. Here is what I came up with:

Anyone interested in a tutorial or a pattern? I have also thought of making up Toss and Learn...Colors kits that could be purchased to make your own bean bags. What do you think?
